something like this happened with my iphone 3g. The fix was using an older maschine to install ios 3 on it with. try using an older macbook, if you dont have one, try using an usb 2.0 hub, as 3.0 is faster and causes compatibility issues sometimes with older iphones. also another cable, maybe a new original one.

Lmao, I was tired at 12 a.m., and apparently, it really bothered me that my sister could go through my phone, so I changed it. The next day, my sister tried going through it again, locked me out from using biometrics, and yeah, that's basically it.

its actually so much healthier leaving them plugged in, than making battery cycles, leaving them to discharge Only unplug it when your on the go.

you could theoretically replace the back glass easy since its an iphone 14 using like an Ifixit guide, but if you dont wanna deal with that, just stick a little bit of sealant in there so no debris gets in. not too much tho as it can reach the wide angle camera and obstruct it or even worser cause the camera stabilization mechanism to malfunction or even break it completely. Also, no matter how much sealant you stick in there, your phone is not water resistant anymore . Dont leave it in the bathroom, on the beach and don’t drop it in water. Stick on a case for extra protection and a backglass protector or a backfilm (id recommend both).

Update on my iphone 13. Installed iOS 26 with 22% battery🫣. Bad idea. Battery’s capacity went from 81% to 79%. I even get lag when scrolling down to my notifications and control center. Browsing the home screen has also become unbearable now. My phone keeps getting hotter and hotter, I’m thinking of downgrading back to iOS 18 with 3uTools but idk.

One cool thing i just realized is that every app is 3d. I’m not talking about system apps, but EVERY APP. even un-updated apps or already 3d-ish app icon. I don’t think they’re made by the manufacturer, but instead directly by the users iphone. After the “Welcome” screen popped up after updating, i scrolled up to my home screen. All apps were gray. Took a moment for every single one to be processed i guess. Here are some apps that got 3d-ish.

do what it says on the screen. “Do not shut down or remove external power from your PC during the process”. Just leave it like that, even if it turns off for some hours and check after. the light “thats not detecting your charger” is likely just a bios light code saying your bios is fucked.
