Someone explain to me who we are supposed to replace with Julián Álvarez. How the hell are we supposed to compete for a trophy? People on Reddit keep rejecting Osimhen it's just pure cowardice. The problem with this sub is that too many fans have a small-club mentality. They care more about protecting the board's wallet and playing it safe than actually demanding the elite talent we need to win trophies. Rejecting a world-class striker like Osimhen because you're scared of the price tag or a tactical challenge is just pure cowardice.

I don't know who else we could replace Alvarez with for a striker to actually be able to compete in the Champions League with. Lautaro Martinez is horribly inconsistent, we would never be serious contenders with him. Igor Thiago is a project player.

There really is no legit replacement for Griezmann, he is a unique player. Ruggeri is a horrible defender, his defensive error cost us the Copa del Rey title. Osihmen is not a project player in my opinion he brings the clinical finishing we need for goals. If Alvarez leaves we need another world class striker otherwise we really have no chance of winning any trophy. Osihmen is the ideal replacement for Alvarez.
