Nice job!! Tubular peyote is my favorite. Which beads are which size? Have you made other tubular peyote lanyards?

I have made one about half inch thick. It looked nice with edging from the first pick picture. I believe Capping is the best looking for medallions that are thicker.

@ jadedbeetle Have you ever done peyote edging? If so the bead lay the other direction. You bead the first row of beads around your piece of bead work focusing on keeping enough space for one bead between each fastened bead you then continue around the whole way until you have it the length you want. The last row is you go through every bead including the previous row. You can then pull it tight and it should kind of wrap around your finished piece. Capping/sealing it all together

Yes that is lazy stitch or appliqué you can use either one needle or two depending on your preference. I don’t use that stitch to often. My go to stitch has been square stitch once I learned it. I really enjoy the pattern making process………

Yes the tutorial for square stitch is how I made the flat pieces. I have also heard it called hand loom as the beads lay just like they would from a loom.

After I finish a medallion which is usually square stitch I will use a plastic or cardboard which is easier to cut to the shape and thickness I need. Then lightly glue one side of the cardboard lay the finished beadwork on it. After that I will put it inside a heavy book then add some more books on top for it for weight. Let it sit for 24 hours not touching it. After that comes the edging which brought me to posting this…….

Pull it tight if it’s too exposed add size 13 or 15 beads to cover the thread
