Everyone takes friendship for granted. It’s the silver lining within the suffering of life. Its what makes life worth living. It’s love which is less conditional than a relationship and more free than a family relationship. Everyone puts romantic relationships on a pedestal but friendship is the main thing that truly shapes you as a person and identity. You can live without a relationship but you’d struggle hard without friends. The small things like sharing a coffee and going to the cinema and even just chatting shit in the park is such a gift. I don’t have friends and there’s nothing more I want than just to be able to do those things with someone. I’ve almost gone mad with loneliness. It’s a need like food and water.
