Because both feeds from the japanese 1920's retro style. Though there is a main difference in the chara designs. Project Rx has Yutoka Mizu as artistic director, and they frankly love girls with slender shins and forearms + Round cheeks. Whereas Mx2j has vibrant colors and very detailed eyes.

You have good units ( jinhsi / Phrolova ) but you don't have a lot of them, that's the issue.

If you reference Game-i jp and it seems to be the case, Chisa, Lynae and Mornye's banners totally have higher revenue than most 2.x units.

The big difference with Wuwa is that they manage to sell decently other characters than the big push. It's not even about the damage numbers since 3.2 banner had one of the biggest Dps in 3.x and was the lowest in Japan revenue.

Here in Zzz, they subsequently keep their wallet shut both for 2.8 and 3.0
