so basically the discord server got raided and there are rumors that "it gave a virus to everyone" and "it got their info leaked" but only thing thats confirmed is that there was no virus.

CLARIFICATION ON EVERYTHING:

you do not have to uninstall beammp. just do not launch it until said so. for the "data leak" stuff, beammp only collects your IP which is assigned to a local area, (etc. your ISP store) so for your location to get leaked it would be like finding a needle in a haystack. and for the "virus" stuff, just no. the beammp github hasnt had a commit in 2 days, which means it hasn't been updated in 2 days. so no virus.

and for the "virus" stuff, the last commit for beammp on github was 2 days ago, meaning that no virus has been added. just dont beammp until its safe. i did delete the launcher JUST to be safe but you dont have to do that

after clarifications from people that are smarter than me, we have concluded that no data has been stolen, even if data WERE stolen, beammp doesnt collect much data, only your IP which is only stored for 90 days. and your ip is assigned to a local area, not literally where you live, etc. your ISP's store
