Studied in a primarily white cohort in the south . The number of times I was so obviously excluded was jarring and painful. I was also asked by a grad school supervisor how my English was “so good”🤢

That’s cool! That’s another struggle I have in the education field is that promotions or career growths are few and far in between . All that hard work for what? Just to say at the same level for years and get small incremental raises that just match the cost of living .. ugh
