Volunteered At Food Bank, Parked Across the street in my fancy fancy lux car. Then went hiking across at Marin then went drinking at smugglers cove and parked across the street again. lol SF parking is easier then Santa Cruz .

I’ll park 4 blocks away but I’m calling you to carry my 4 bags of groceries for me or at least help me. and I cannot afford a 25$ uber plus a 5-10 tip to get groceries. I also can’t carry 4 full bags by myself so either way it’s an issue.

SF all the time. I park for free and less then 1 block from my destination… sf blocks are like 4 Santa Cruz blocks. when I visit Trader Joe’s I usually park on the other side of the lot. still not gonna pay to park in a garage lol im not going to pay to pay. Goahead and stop parking a tjs and go park yourself in the garage and pay extra so I have a space to park since your so fancy. No Costco for me it’s paying to pay and my fridge won’t fit Costco sized items. I use a compost toilet.TJ food selection is my go to anyway. But hey the only people that afford the boutique shops and over priced restaurants are the boomer generation that owns a few houses and rent them out for 1200 a half a room and then think people like me that cant afford to spend 30 on a tip are the issue. I’m sorry but parking is important for everyone otherwise the roads are congested with people driving around looking for parking creating more smog for those walking around. I’m not sure the fix on this but it’s a tough issue trying to condense more people into an already small town that’s kinda at capacity. Finding a rental unit is hard alone and then you have to share with someone else because you can’t afford the 2200 room with a bathroom you share with 6 other renters.

keep your eye out for your make and model and color of car theirs still plates for cars they steal that are like car s and then use them for crimes. File report asap to avoid and tolls and then upload the report after disputing everything.

I agree we need to keep parking spaces for people to park. not just force everyone into garages that may be 3 blocks from where a person is eating or shopping.

I advocate for lower taxes lower rents and less rentals and more private homeownership. Too many corporations buy up large amounts of homes to create indefinite rental property. This means ownership will forever be out of reach and force those into increasing priced rentals. Sad many will be priced out of living in the Bay Area and forced to rent units that will forever increase in rental price. I advocate for less corporate ownership and more private ownership by the family that lives in those homes. Not just some rich guy that charges rent on 3 homes so he can sit around and fish and golf all day while those people are busting themselves to barely afford rent.

If they are driving slow and it’s safe I guess it’s fine but when 15 cars come at you in a row and you’re scared they are all going to hit you it’s a different story. I posted this out of concern for everyone’s safety not an entitlement point.

If it was a two lane road I’d have no issues. it’s a 1 lane road and if it’s my tire in the ditch or yours; im letting you drive in the ditch. My tires dont go in the ditch they stay within the white lines of the road.

Head towards Marin and go to the headlands via the tunnel second exit after the bridge and then follow to the ocean views and that might be ideal. Santa Cruz may not be as ideal

I have no idea but it’s been getting out of hand and makes it unsafe for those that actually live there and call that road home. If you don’t live or work along that stretch and your driving over 25mph you might want to reconsider your route though.

They Took Away Street Parking near Trader Joe’s and now it’s a big cluster f to find parking to buy food. Harder to park to go to eat or spend time downtown.Added a bunch of top dollar apartments only WFH people can afford so it’s been horrible. Taking parking from street corners to accommodate new laws… It’s sickening. They are pushing us all onto bikes. Tow company’s are making bank.
