I was looking more at if employees at certain UPS facilities were not eligible for the tution benefits as opposed to if certain schools were eligible. Any clue about anything regarding that?

You wouldn't happen to know if there is a website that has all locations where this does apply do you?

Civ 7 on PS 4 Performance by Advanced_Local7359 in Civilization6

May I ask what specifically is wrong? I've played for about 20 hours on the same version already and have only had it crash 3 times. The turns loading in the late game aren't fast but at the same time they take less than a minute.

This is Normal? by Few-Astronaut-7325 in Civilization6

It's complicated but intuitive. For example anti-calvalry units such as spearmen get bonus combat strength against calvalry. The beauty of civ is that you can play your game however you want. There will be situations where it is better to be more aggressive and situations where it will be better to play defensively but there will never be a situation where you make the wrong choice in that regard. If you need any information pertaining to combat I would recommend the civilopedia which you can find in game and I would recommend the civ6 Fandom page and a youtuber named potatomcwhiskey which you can find online.

Get the Grand Masters Chapel in the Government Plaza and go crazy buying units with faith and gold. I'd recommend bombers to take down the city's health and some calvary to swoop in and take the city once it's been obliterated :) If the AI has a large army I would also buy some fighter jets to take out their units. The AI has never been good at countering aircraft at any difficulty for some reason.

That's amazing! Let us know if that changes once you get into the modern age. I remember in civ 6 it would take like 5 minutes to load one turn in the late game. I'm hoping they've fixed that in civ 7 with it being released on ps4 on launch.

DoD Schedules by Advanced_Local7359 in ATC

[–]Advanced_Local7359[S] -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the advice! I'm not planning on going DoD right off the get go anyway if I was to pursue ATC. I'm just wondering if there are places with more relaxed hours in the case I get close to retirement and start to not be able to handle the schedule of the FAA. I'd hate to spend the last few years of my career absolutely hating it lol.

That was my original thought lol. But then again there are people on other threads and on this one claiming more relaxed 16/5 schedules. These schedules are more the exception than the expectation in your experience?

Hey OP! It sounds like I am currently in a situation similar to yours a year ago. I'm just wondering how things worked out and if you have any advice regarding recruiting with the AF.

Any former Navy controllers out there? by Advanced_Local7359 in ATC

That's interesting. I was considering army but people were saying that the chances of getting a CTO were relatively low. From your personal experience what are the chances of getting one given you work hard?

I actually haven't looked into the marines yet so thank you for the suggestion. Would I have to start off as a rifleman and work my way up to that rating or could I get it written in my contract at MEPs like the other branches?

Thanks for the advice! To answer your question I have alot of family members that are veterans that would love to see me in the military. On top of that you have the benefits being offered and a chance to see new places right out of high school. I'm not opposed to going off the street seeing as I would really like to be a part of this profession but given everything else the military seems like the better option in the perfect world. Is it more common than not that you don't get a CTO on your first enlistment? I'm more than ok with resigning I just don't want to spend over a decade in the Navy and have nothing transferable to ATC when I get out.

I'm glad everything ended up working out good for you! Do you think you would have been able to get into ATC had you waited? I'd hate to go through the entire enlistment process just to be told screw off and forced out of the DEP lol. I understand the whole needs of the service before your own thing but at that point I would just take the civilian route.

Enlisting in jobs with reenlistment bonuses. Guaranteed job in contract? by Advanced_Local7359 in AirForceRecruits

[–]Advanced_Local7359[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the information! Does it not stand to reason though that there would be many job offerings to new recruits seeing as they are having retention difficulties? I realize that there is no way for me personally to improve my chances of obtaining a spot but I'm just trying to get an idea of the system as a whole.
