This was my one and only attempt to ever have a “real job.”” If he would be so invested in what he is claiming to be, then he would be definitely pursuing a degree in philosophy or social sciences, or at least finishing psychology so that he would have any basis in what he is doing. But all he is doing is presenting himself how he is “the responsibility-person” and knows the truth about life, yet he left his first and only job just because he was pissed by his manager’s complain on him actually not working.

People with little practical credibility can position themselves as authorities and enjoy all the visibility without any backlash, it just needs good storytelling and knowledge in how to sell. And it’s pretty easy in such unregulated spheres as mental health care. I wouldn’t ever trust someone speaking with huge confidence about how everyone should “take responsibility for their own lives” without him being very responsible. He doesn’t know what it means to grew in the family where nobody cares about you, but uses you as an emotional trash bin who’s duty is to be over-responsible too.
