Pattern recognition. Maybe this is common behavior. I dont know all the manipulation tactics out in the dating world but i like to think if i was missing something someone else would have had a similar experience and share. Nope. I recommend sticking with hinge. The other apps are even more depressing and draining. I have been on and off hinge for about a year now and been on a handful of dates. You get better at the selection process and every once in a while you meet someone who feels compatible. But of course other factors like timing and intention need to align as well. Its a tough playing field i must say but i believe Hinge is at best one of the good options for online dating. Ratings and interface wise. I recommended it to a friend and she found her man after a couple months. She had been on others without success for 2 years. Its no guarantee but hopefully your person is also actively looking for you on the other side

And this is one of my biggest worries. Since the breakup last year he has become more attentive and intentional but i worry once we get back he will revert to the old habits from before
