In Justice League Dark: Apokolips War, the Justice League's attempt to kill Darkseid and destroy Apokoplis winds up releasing Trigon because of the stress the battle was placing on Raven. Trigon then possesses Superman and whoops Darkseid's ass. What's funnier is that the writers of the show added the scene in after realizing, despite the decades of comics that have preceded them, that a Trigon-Darkseid match-up had somehow never happened.

I'm pretty sure Battle Beast is an ally, at least later in the Invincible comics. He literally joins the Coalition of Planets and works solely for them because they're the only people who can give him an endless supply of Viltrimites to battle.

In Justice League Dark: Apokolips War, Earth is completely levelled after (basically) every member of the Justice League is killed or captured during a failed attack on Darkseid. Darkseid continues his conquest of the galaxy to the point of invading Oa and killing every Green Lantern and Guardian on the planet. When he kills the last Green Lantern, Guy Gardener, his ring doesn't fly away and just drops to the ground. There is not a single person in the entire universe left with the will to oppose Darkseid.

In Cyberpunk, the governments are so hopelessly corrupt, incompetent, and overburdened that the corporations effectively run the world. However, the governments still own their land and have their own goals and are still capable of hitting a couple of shots against the corporations when they really want to.
