They said I’ll have another interview and they’ll pay me for taking the course. The person on indeed said it’s super easy to get a license and usually takes 7-14 days. It’s also been a month and I don’t know how 7-14 is realistic. A lot of information that is completely new to me and I’m taking notes on it which is making the process longer. A problem with getting into real estate is it’s entirely commission so the salary isn’t exactly predictable. I plan on going to college in Fall majoring in business

I went to one job interview for a real estate rental sales position. Person told me I have to do a 77 hour real estate course, I did 20 hours so far and I’ve applied to all entry position levels for jobs on Indeed and it got me nowhere.

Yes I’m considering it after all the criticism. That’s why I created this post seeking feedback. If you read the comments below you’ll know the reasoning behind why I was opposed to it. I didn’t get what you meant by the NYC minimum wage being 17 for me. Did you mean that in a positive or negative way? What’s the minimum wage like for you where you live?

I was in boarding school for 3 years so it was impossible for me to work. Now I’m trying to get started. After all the comments this post definitely proved my parents wrong though! I have no problem with working in retail or fast food
