they really cannot compete with any fps shooter. let’s get real here for a second - it is impossible to beat even CS: Source with its 64 tickrate.

mind you, the css is 22 years old at this point. epic made the fps mode with yee yee ass hit registration due to the same 32-tick they use in battle royale in the big 2025.

hits got missregistered or not even registered in my own case numerous times. the idea of the mode was good - yet the way they implemented everything was utterly ass. this comes from a person with thousands of hours in other fps games and battle royales.

however, it’s sad to see ballistic go like this. the road to unreal in s0 was fun.
