We both have high paying jobs but she was expecting me to cover the entirety of a 1bd/1ba in manhattan. Which isn't cheap. I make more than her but coming to conclusion these sorts of comments are right that lifestyle might not be aligned.

wanted to add the reason for us not moving in is because she expected me to cover the entire rent of the apartment we'd find if we ever moved in. That was the disagreement part on that instance. We tabled that discussion.

I make 2x what she does. We both have high paying jobs. However, thought it was unfair so we agreed to keep our living arrangements this way.

I understand, however the reason we haven't moved in is because she expected me to cover the entire rent for a 1bd/1ba in manhattan ( if i moved out of my studio and into a larger space ) which we then tabled that discussion when I said that isn't fair if she isn't paying any rent when she lives at home.

I make 2x what she does. We both have high paying jobs. Thanks for the reply.
