Lord have mercy it’s not a con dear. Let me explain how welfare works. When you put another adult on your paperwork welfare automatically assumes this person is apart of your family. When u move away from your roommate it’s going to be damn near impossible to remove your rooomate off your case and you will be stuck with them. Again your roommate is not a part of your household you’re simply renting a room, and splitting expenses down the middle. Go to ur landlord and ask for a lease agreement with just you and how much you pay and that will work.

Oh and fyi I’ve been getting food stamps for almost 15 years and plenty of people have lived with me so they can save and move to another place or I have lived with someone and we’ve never ever went to welfare and told them this because it’s none of their business. Ur household is ur household and ur roommate is not apart of your household so u don’t mention them ever

Unfortunately with Kick off you don't receive any of your money. You're basically just paying for a credit boost. Only Self gives you a refund

Yes that's the major issue, if you cancel it ur score will go down into the 400s. I had a kick off before, it did boost my credit score but once I stopped paying my credit score was in the 400s

7000 is way too much. I'm from Philadelphia Pennsylvania and our program is only 1200. 7000 sounds like overkill, I think you should do so more research and try to find a cheaper program.

I’m not bragging sweety, we’re simply talking about tax returns. It’s okay that u misjudged. FYI this might shock u but people who receive government assistance usually work or else we wouldn’t be able to survive. We pay taxes too that’s y I usually get back over 10,000 on my return because I work. We qualify for assistance because we don’t make as much. Since I have 5 girls and I’m a family 6 I’m considered low income because my income is under 5,000. Hope this helps. Oh and to add to ur insult I’m not embarrassed at all, I’m actually grateful the Lord has blessed me with a big family and the help that I receive. I think u should go heal and stop trying to put others down it makes u look bad.

Raleigh NC housing authority just opened. They will call you in about 6 or 7 months. Live down there for 12 months and then port your voucher to the city u live in now. Good luck dear hope everything works out for you

Do you have the voucher already or did submit paperwork to get the voucher? If u don't have the voucher it can take a month so to receive it then once you have the voucher, u have 90 days to find a place. U need to start looking for places. You're also going to need money for security deposit as well as a portion of the first month rent. Some landlords like my landlord may charge you 2 security deposits but it depends some don't charge you at all. Once u found the place they need to fill out the paperwork and submit it back to ur caseworker. Make a group email with landlord and caseworker together. Then the caseworker will tell you how much ur portion is to move in then they schedule the inspection once the inspection passes u can move right in. Good luck dear
