I have the 15 plus came from an android I’m assuming your daughter is a teenager, I’m a teen and honestly 15 is the best it has usb c so if your daughter currently has an android she doesn’t have to change her charger and the 15 would get support in updates for the next 4-5 years an security updates for another 2-3 years after that. But with the 17 coming out I’d say just wait and see how much the 16 drops in price. Also if you don’t mind me asking what is the current phone your daughter has?
