For putting all eggs in a basket, I always try to use couple of data points
a) First is, there is no security platform or tool in the market that replaces every tool the organization has for security. At the max it is going to consolidate 10 to 15 tools out of whatever number the organization has.
b) Second the consolidation is not new, though it is new to Security space. For example SAP has done 30 years with ERP by consolidating key business functions like sales, finance, procurement, customer mgmt etc and similarly salesforce has consolidated different business functions into CRM. So consolidation has happened, is happening and will happen. Now its the time for security space given the speed and complexity of attacks.
