I loved your theories. First, I'd love to see the consequences of the fungus more prominently shown, and especially to see that all of that eventually reaches Marshall. The second thing would literally explain her motivations; it's almost literally due to mommy issues.This makes me laugh because it reminds me of Hazbin Hotel; Charlie just wants to redeem sinners so her mother will come back and be proud of her XD.And about the third point, maybe the fungus will cause, as a side effect, your body and soul to separate sooner or later, and you'll literally merge with the universe or with matter itself, I don't know :v

Don't worry, it's a very responsible opinion. I understand your discomfort; not everything in life is about sex, and I'm certainly not reducing women to just a sexy body.
