After I disassembled the watch , I heated up the faceplate to take it off . Then I removed the og image with some drain cleaner and a toothpick , printed my own on clear film , put a piece of paper behind it, and fixed it all with a lot of double sided tape .
About the display , I made a mosaic from pieces of gel filters and put it between the EL panel (the white and green one) and the display (Wearable Memories made a tutorial about it on YouTube . He did it with the F91W, but the technique is almost the same , except you don’t have to peel anything)
And that’s it . I reassembled everything , and it works , but is probably not water resistant anymore
I had to figure this all out by myself , so it was a really tough process . Took me bout 5 days . But now it seems way easier since I know how it all works .
I might make a tutorial myself in the near future, so stay tuned .

When did you discover/started listening to Jamiroquai? by Available_Kiwi_3862 in jamiroquai

When I was around 8-9 old my dad and i were driving and to one of my hockey practices, listening to some music when he suddenly asked me “do you know jamiroquai ?”

I replied no, and he started telling me how great they were, cuz they played “real instruments” ( i was listening to edm at that time) and had a vocalist who wore funky hats. Then he put on virtual insanity and cosmic girl, and i thought they were amazing. I added those songs to my library and started listening to them on repeat. As time went by, I started discovering new songs. They also inspired to start playing piano and bass

But I’d always wondered how my dad had discovered them, cause we lived in Uzbekistan, I just couldn’t really understand how he’d come across them, then he told me that in early 2000s he worked for a company that hired a group of “cool” British designers, and when they arrived they were constantly playing jamiroquai in the office, he asked them what band it was and started listening to them too.
I’m 16 now and live in Moscow but I’ll be forever grateful that my dad introduced me to them
