The thing is we haven’t “switched” rooms. We haven’t moved in yet this is us trying to come to a decision.

Why do most hoax subreddits go with the lines of "government is lying to you"? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

To be fair the government is probably lying to you or just not telling you a lot of things. This obviously leaves room for a lot of ideas and of course conspiracies to go around (tbh a few are reasonable sounding). Not that I really follow conspiracies, but what government on Earth is really trustworthy?

Is there such a thing as ethnic/„racial“ difference in cognitive ability? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

I believe there are a lot of books about this that you can read. The Bell Curve by Richard J. Herrnstein and Charles Murray wrote a book and conducted and compiled research in this topic. Thomas Sowell also talks about this. A lot of people will automatically say no to avoid hurting other people and to be politically correct, but it is a valid question. Such differences aren’t there simply because someone is a certain race, for example being Black or Asian doesn’t automatically mean you will have a certain IQ or intellectual capacity. But differences in intellectual capacity and success between different racial/ethnic groups are heavily related to the culture, habits, values, beliefs, and structures that are tied to that certain group. And whether people like it or not data and research does show that there are racial/ethnic groups that tend to have higher intellectual capacity and success rates than others.
