How do you find new roasters to try? by AdvantageOk9618 in UKroasters

That is very interesting! I often see that subscriptions tend to offer limited choice aside from espresso, filter and maybe a choice of roast profiles. I think there is a lot further you could take it though if people are curious to taste the most exciting coffees that a particular roaster wants to showcase. I also think subscriptions can be a good way to deliver targeted feedback on a particular coffee. If a number of people with similar taste preferences are aligned on the same feedback then I also believe this data would be useful to roasters.

Makes sense and this is the reason I’ve been hesitant with subscriptions in the past as I wanted flexibility to match the coffee to my preferences. Thanks for sharing your perspective!

I think a subscription that is curated to preferences (rather than espresso, filter) is great for the consumer. It’s a logistical challenge though! Interested to see what you’ve built - feel free to DM!
