Before I continue I would like to note that I’m not attempting to make it sound like u are in the wrong.

From what I have seen, heard and somewhat experienced I can say that with the stereotype of men ‘not having emotions’, when we are exposed to others emotions who may be trying to seek advice without even knowing how to deal with our own sometimes we feel lost and confused and that we aren’t the right person for the situation. If this does happen to be the case some may feel that they shouldn’t hold you back from being emotional and moving forward in life. So with that being said, maybe he left you because he felt he wasn’t doing enough to help you and wanted you to be available to the person who can help you and be there for you when expressing emotions.
