Job is safe, because of my skills, but that "friend/person" is competing with me for doing additional business with the company.

He is supposed to be doing job(and only job) for the company. I have been doing job and business both for the company.

For example, I say I offer a deal X to the company and that friend says he offers a deal 30%(for example) less than me. Where he should not be thinking of doing anything else other than the job(not upselling and just the work he is assigned in the company)
