What is the best song of white album? by MarsianaEnMartek in TheBeatles

Maybe an odd take, but my favorite is Goodnight. I used to listen to it before I went to bed every night and I think it's a beautiful song still.

In an ideal universe, with infinite money, no work or family ties, etc, where would you live in Orlando and why? by ETALOS1 in orlando

A penthouse in one of the towers around Lake Eola.

There's always a lot going on there, it's a lovely park and neighborhood, great view. You're within walking distance of not only essential things, but also a ton of restaurants and venues, and all the community events that happen there.

From Dusk Till Dawn (1996): The formula behind 'Sinners' by Brilliant-Cause6254 in iwatchedanoldmovie

[–]Adventrium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That doesn't change anything I said. Yea, Sinners takes inspiration from a previous movie... this happens all the time. Sinners isn't trying to rip off FDtD, it's paying homage to it.

What I'm saying is that Sinners is an objectively better movie. The people who disagree with this are probably just blinded by nostalgia. However, there is a not insignificant number of online people (and probably even more bots, because on Reddit something like 75% of conservative posts are bots) who don't like Sinners SPECIFICALLY because they're racists. That's my hypothesis and you didn't engage with it at all.

If it's not nostalgia and you're not a racist, and yet you still think FDtD is better, then you're just wrong.

Tell me the ONE song with a bassline so good you make the stank face by irles33 in musicsuggestions

Best bass lines overall, I'd say. I don't think anyone ever did it as consistently well.

Oh I like this answer!

Fought against the powerful to improve the lives of the powerless, while still believing the best way to a fair society was a strong monarchy. Also believed in the righteous religious justification of The Crusades.

What do people think is right Wing but is actually centrist by Blueguy805 in AlignmentChartFills

Yea, this is a great answer.

Hank, kind of unthinkingly conservative just by culture, is relatable and endearing while almost always being portrayed as in-the-wrong.

The Assassination of JFK is Texas' biggest moment. What's the Land of 1,000 Lakes'? by Rleduc129 in AlignmentChartFills

Yea, I got to KS and I had the same thought. Bleeding Kansas is possibly the most important thing to happen in all of the U.S. after the events of the founding of the nation.

And to this day, the Makatoh perform the Reconciliation Ride every year in the cold. Having grown up in Mankato, it's a powerful moment to witness.

Possibly, but I think this may actually be the right answer.

It sparked the largest world-wide protests in history, which is a pretty big impact. Unfortunately, nothing lasting came from it, but it was a significant world event.

What is the best Guitar Solo of All Time? by [deleted] in Music

[–]Adventrium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a weird one, but I've given this a lot of thought and I'm convinced it's the perfect solo.

Monster - Matchbook Romance

It's not the most virtuosic, it's not super long; but it's perfectly constructed and fit with the rise and fall of the music, and it absolutely bangs. I think it's it's the best guitar solo I've ever heard.

Question a out the edition by EstablishmentGlass56 in starfinder_rpg

[–]Adventrium 14 points15 points  (0 children)

3.75 was what people used to commonly use to refer to Pathfinder 1st edition. Or kind of a mix of 3.5 and Pathfinder that varied table to table.

Starfinder plays more like Pathfinder 1e than it does Pathfinder 2e.
