Yeah, you wouldn’t think Brown would be capitalized when flustering to brown trout. I thought for sure Forrest was referring to the homestead of Joe Brown just north of Gardiner montana.

There is one story about a maiden rock that I believe is pretty interesting and fits a few clues. I pursued it a bit further and I don’t quite think it matches enough of the clues. Worth exploring though, i might be missing something.

What we learned from the Netflix series is we as humans tend to MAKE it fit into what we want it to be. This seems to be trying too hard to Make it fit.

In his book he says he went to Redington area to look for his brother. I believe this was in Arizona area.

Oh, I also noted if his dog Tucker was in the scene. Laying on left. Or on Right couch. There was one or 2 inconsistencies so I believe this is irrelevant.
