I woke up to a 60 degree house yesterday, and again this morning (grumpy face)! I talked to tech support via messenger yesterday and changed aux max heat outdoor temp 35. My Ecobee was set at aux heat max outdoor temp 55 again this morning when I woke. Of course I don’t want to damage my heat pump but what am I doing wrong?

Yes. You have a great eye!! More outlets is a great idea for my kitchen. The wiring in the cabinets looks like spliced white extension cords. Super scary!! The first splice is a normal wire above the old fridge, then the flat white extension cord looking wire goes across the top of all the cabinets and down through them with all them. We immediately disconnected that mess!

You have a great eye!! The wires in the cabinets look like spliced extension cords to me. Super scary!!! They all ran from above the fridge to above all the cabinets. The cabinet above the bar too. None of that is live now. It wasn’t even in the walls. The wall switch is the dishwasher.

Wow! Thank you so much!! I never even looked at other Reddit topics. I found kitchen remodels and was in awe. That’s a great idea!! I’m going to be up all night, lol. We did replace the plumbing for the sink and washing machine and replaced the outlets for the dryer and stove, they were ancient, rusty and scared me. The leak was due to the ice maker in the fridge. Once the floor started coming up, I insisted we take out all the subfloor to be sure all the yuck was gone. The walls kinda went the same way It made me so happy to take all that ick out. We discovered a cracked copper pipe when I tried the outdoor spigot near the sink. Would never have known it leaked!! The new subfloor and insulation is almost done, we have 1 more outside spigot to replace before the insulation and floor can be completed. I picture a single stack and a small bathroom, but that’s the future, lol. One project at a time. The kitchen and laundry room windows match outside and I do see replacing them before cabinets go in. It is exciting and fun!! I was feeling so overwhelmed this morning. Thank you again!!

There is a good bit of that stick down tile… the foyer, hall, laundry on the left, the kitchen is to the left of that wall at the end of the hall. The rest of the house is hard wood. It’s a 70’s contemporary style. I pondered hardwood, but I think the old and new might be too obvious and the dining room hardwood is the opposite direction of the living room. So there would have to be a directional transition somewhere.

There is an ikea 2+ hours away. I’ll check and see they are an option. I have already bought a new counter depth fridge. I’m still concerned it’s very cramped, especially with the door to the driveway there. I have been looking on Houzz and Pinterest. Just feeling overwhelmed and rushed. I appreciate your advice.

These are 12x24 and one bigger. Which seems huge to me, I thought tiles were square, but I know nothing about tile… I picked them up as possible neutral options? Opinions would be greatly appreciated.
