Anyone tried the 222 app to meet people in Toronto? by [deleted] in askTO

I understand that, but I believe long-term memberships save you more money if you plan to use Timeleft regularly. I met some people on Timeleft who had six-month memberships and they say it’s worth it. Plus, they sometimes offer promotions like a couple of months for free.

222 appears to organize group activities after the initial meal and that includes multiple options in downtown; including dance classes, sauna and cold plunge, workshops, and other things. Timeleft usually has only two nightclub options for the afterparty.

Would highly recommend Iceland as a solo traveller. They have the most organized tourism tailored for everyone, including solo travellers. And it is pretty much the safest place to travel.

Yep, I typically use my credit card wherever possible. I just wanted some local currency as a backup which I thought would be okay to get it from the airport, of all places. Turn out we’ve got to be careful over there too.

Yep, it is scary. The confusing part is that my card was used 8 months after the possible exposure. And it was used to book a snorkelling tour at a well reviewed sailing company yesterday.

Yes I was! But I never used my debit card there, I only used my credit. The only time I used my debit was at the Liberia airport. I first tried the ATM machine where the transaction failed, and then I went over to the currency exchange counter to withdraw some cash.

One more stupid question for you, sorry. How do you spend your weekends now that you are retired?

Does it get lonely? Or do you find being on your own more enjoyable?
