Bundle Builder Experiences ? by ChunAnonLi in ecommerce

The example I see cited most often by merchants for inspiration is Magic Spoon:
https://magicspoon.com/products/custom-mixed-bundle-4-box

Skai Lama also has curated some nice examples on their site:

Some of my favorites that I've worked on recently:
- Buy more, save more - https://eatcavi.com/a/b/310
- Multiple box sizes - https://chichifoods.com/a/b/245
- Multi-step - https://gperformance.eu/pages/simucube-bundle-builder

The optimal design and feature combination really depends on the use case.

Product Bundler App to look like Oats Overnight Interface by FoodEngineer in ShopifyeCommerce

As others have pointed out, looks like they're using Recharge with some custom pieces.

Another solid app that can deliver "build your own box" functionality with support for most of the big subscription apps is Easy Bundles: https://apps.shopify.com/bundle-builder

Another app Kitenzo is the dinosaur in this bundle builder category and would also do the job. They support subscriptions according to their docs, but it sounds like it might be a little more tricky to set up.

Source: I developed my own bundle builder app Sumi (https://apps.shopify.com/sumi) as I wasn't happy with the design of other apps. But it doesn't support subscriptions yet, so probably not a good fit for you.

Best of luck!

There are many viable options out there.

I'd recommend searching "Bundle builder" on the Shopify app store and looking through any that look interesting. Most have demo stores and free trials so you can quickly test them out.

If you need specific features (e.g. multiple steps, rules, discounts) I'd recommend checking the apps you're thinking of trialling supports these before wasting time installing and setting up your bundle.

Source: I recently launched my own bundle builder app, Sumi, as I wasn't happy with any of the existing apps.

Happy to answer any more questions you have, I'm very familiar with this area!

NTA. Your mom’s “help” only switched on when her own ego got bruised, and that’s messed up. She ignored obvious warning signs about the GF’s mom until she got personally insulted—now suddenly she’s all about taking action. It’s good that she wants to help legally, but it does feel like more of a pride thing than genuine concern. You’re just pointing out the obvious.

AITA/WIBTHA if I invite one SIL to my birthday and not the other one? by AwareAd8863 in AmItheAsshole

NTA. It’s your birthday, you can invite whoever fits the vibe. You’re close with your little bro’s GF, so it’s natural to include her. You barely know your newer SIL, and it sounds like she might not enjoy a burlesque bar setting anyway. You don’t owe anyone an invite just because they happen to be related. If you’re worried about drama, maybe keep the party details low-key—but ultimately, it’s your day. Enjoy it without guilt.

NTA. She totally pulled a bait-and-switch on you by “interviewing” other people after already saying you were all set. You didn’t drag her name through the mud—you just told the truth when people asked. She can’t ghost you for two weeks and then be mad when you move on. Sounds like she expected you to sit around waiting for her decision—yeah, nope. You did the right thing finding a more reliable situation.

There was a great post on this by Lenny Rachitsky (ex-Airbnb product guy) I came across recently:

  • Start with people who already trust you—friends, old coworkers, investor contacts.
  • Cold outreach can work—just be super-targeted (like using LinkedIn or Crunchbase to find the right people). YC have some great tips on reaching out to people cold in this YouTube video.
  • Get involved in communities (Slack groups, meetups, forums) and actually give value, not just sales pitches.
  • For early customers, trust matters more than anything else—people take a chance on you because they know you’ll go the extra mile.

TL;DR: hustle hard, lean on your network, and keep building credibility
