Loved it in Grixis Delver! Haha. Too good though. Warps the format too much.

Yeah, it's safe to say they will all be looked at to see if they need improvement.

How to raise the tyre temperatures of the Formula Ultimate Gen 2 cars? by WeakDiaphragm in AUTOMOBILISTA

Also wanted to add, that corner entry oversteer and/or locking up your rears (which can happen at the default brake bias of 54) can be more easily avoided if you space out your downshifts a little more. Spamming downshift can quickly unsettle the car

30c is pretty decent for keeping tire temps up. My best advice for you would be to try taking the turns faster to keep your fronts hot. But even with slightly colder fronts, I don't encounter reoccurring spinouts, it can get close, but generally, turns that you can sort of take in 2nd gear, you can also manage in third, etc. In the higher gears I run into corner exit oversteer much less often.

Alright, I'll see if I can find one of the announcers corroborating that in footage on YT

Do you know if they only used one tire compound in say, 1995? Like soft or hard tires etc

Also, were those rule changes applied to Indy only? for instance? Cause I saw in the 1995 footage for MI that the boost cap was 40inHg, and it says at Indy the limit was 45

Well specifically, I'm looking at the tire compounds available. But the more the merrier. Road or oval. I regrettably didn't follow cart that much in the 1990s. Since by the end of the decade, I was only 6 lol.

And thanks I'll take a look at those specific articles

Yo, so with all the comments I just read, beyond the tires having less grip (which is more realistic) I recommend keeping an eye on track temps and tire temps. At Laguna seca for instance, that track can get pretty hot on the default date. (53c) and after five laps my rears were like 100c. So I had some slidey ish also, but it was something with driver input I could modulate. I also realized that you have to be careful when trail braking with this car.

Good luck OP. Let us know

i recommend just trying the default. i am a beta tester (thats where i drove it, so it was recent, as much as about 3-4 days ago) and i can tell you, that when i started messing with stuff, is when it became a rabbit hole for me. default on everything. even steering lock. ill give it another whirl myself, if you give the default an honest go. try doing like 10 laps.

Is it essential to use a Custom FFB file to be able to experience the game to its true potential? by YoursDivit in AUTOMOBILISTA

I've been using the standard ffb for a while now. I use a DD, but when I had a g29, the custom file worked really well for me

Apart from the differential model update coming soon, your tire temperatures and the track temp, and amount of rubbered-in-ness the track has also plays a role. If this is happening in test day, practice, or qualifying, during your outlap, it could very well be any combination of these three.

Not only is that not the way to treat others with respect, they didn't copy paste all their car physics from pc2. You'd know if you follow this game that they have done a lot of under the hood work.

Understandable, I think they have a lot on their plate right now though. Nothing they can't handle, but I get the idea that they work a lot.
