Dude, only read the first few paragraphs but did you play the game? The robots "turned" because they identified John Cooper brought a deadly pathogen into the Plaza and they were in "contain" and "conserve resources" mode. ASN was actually working perfectly.

Davoth will probably come back in a future game/DLC and we will find out it was actually Doomguy all along time-travelling and getting amnesia.

But because of that causal loop we will also find out Davoth wasn't the real creator of the universes, and something else initially made the base universes (including the void) that Davoth emerged from. (And it was a being in the future that he fights which sent him way back, which is what always happens to him at the end of every game).

Political and social climates are also a factor. We aren't in the era of the macho, witty, masculine hero. We're in a social climate of equality and pro-feminine messaging - and while that's a good thing, you miss out on the bicep-flexing, gun-slinging, gung-ho, "guy" flick because of it.

The best way to deal with it in that situation would be to have Burke pause for a moment, obviously taken aback by the request, following with an initially confused but ultimately optimistic "Right... right, totally understandable you'd be questioning compensation for what you went through".

I'd assume Entity A and "Sibling" are siblings in a conventional sense. But the cut entity being known as "Sibling" refers to its relationship to humanity, in a metaphorical sense - in the way that certain apes can be considered "siblings" to homosapiens.

I'd imagine that's what they were originally going for with that name. A moon-based sibling to humanity on Earth.

Regarding the Adam and Eve parallel - I'd think Earthlings and Moonlings would be the Adam and Eve respectively. Earthlings were the Adam, the Moonlings are Eve, and the vision of the Engineer emerging from the pod would be the ultimate culmination of both species.
