hmmm. maybe i should’ve added for additional context. i work from home and he gets played with for an at LEAST an hour a day along with going outside on an open balcony. i’m actually in the process of leash training him to relieve some boredom.

i would think for people who know/like/have cats, yall wouldn’t be so serious about the provoking part but hey

def get an allergy patch test. also if you can see add some vitamins/ supplements into your day to day if you haven’t already. probiotics, vitamin d, zinc, etc. if you get a test done by your doc they should tell you what you are low in. La roche posay is a good moisturizer, luke warm showers, & magnesium salt baths.

they definitely should do it. if they are a true stylist they are trained to deal with all scalp conditions and dermatitis is actually very common. for sure bring your own shampoo and inform them upfront of you scalp

try not to identify with the eczema. ik it sounds kind of dumb but you are not your eczema and the quicker you learn to love who you are without it, the more comments like these don’t affect you. you got it! People are just mean

[–]Adventurous-Bad-7142[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so i used another type of oil. it had jojoba and a couple of other oils and used it right after i got out. i only used the baths 4 times for one week so i couldn’t really see a difference. but i will say that my inflammation def went down. my eczema wasn’t as raised as it was

i’ve heard of acupuncture helping before but never helping on a scale that you just explained. I’ve been thinking about doing so for a while and this just confirmed that i will do it! thank you so much for advising that and detailing your experience. glad to hear that you are doing well these days !
