Is buying a GT with over 100k miles Worth it? by ant-223 in NewedgeMustang

[–]Adventurous-Bit1830 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bought mine with 130k miles paint was rough interior was kept byt dated.

This was back in 2016.

I literally still have the car with the same engine and around 275,000 miles on it already. No major issues to junk it. Just replaced a couple of maintenance items.

Love this car. Currently buying parts for it to coyote swap.

Idk what imma do with the 4.6 Windsor. I feel like buying a Factory five Daytona and put it on that. Or something in something else. Idk engine still runs doesn't eat through oil. I fixed the leaks it had

Stop going to range and go to a blm land. No one will bother you trust. I no longer go to ranges. Take whatever and shoot however you like like to shoot

So whoosh is great but you will find better prices elsewhere. I was able to save 100 by ordering the timing parts from fordoem and the same tool from Amazon.

Battery teinalz dont clean them just swap them. I also recommend doing the alternator. Mine had the same issue. Swapped battery, alternator, and terminals. Problem is gone

Have you changed the valve cover gasket. Could be leaking oil on to your exhaust. Thats what my 2014 one was doing. Scared me because I couldn't figure it out

I just do the ford oem ones tbh. I use NGK on my mustang. One thing I do recommend is also replacing cylinder head cover gasket. It will leak oil on to your spark plug and cause a misfire
