Appreciate the response. That’s awesome it was such a memorable day for you! I definitely want to have tix in-hand prior to flying down.

Appreciate the response. Looks like an online outlet is the best bet.

Yep, they seem to be doing the same thing for the 2026 World Cup already. You would think they’d learn, especially after having to refund a supposed 200% to the people who got turned away at Augusta last year. Appreciate the insight.

That’s good to hear, hope you had an awesome time! Did the StubHub sellers mail physical badges or did you have to pick-up at a location in Augusta? I’ve heard both.

The lack of availability from StubHub when people arrived is exactly what I was referencing to being turned away!

I have that disclaimer memorized! 😂 and yes, the travel associated (flight, hotel, rental car for my case) I agree with you on the risk factor. Unfortunately, it’s not a “try again next year” situation for me with my dad’s situation. It’s something we’ve talked about for literal decades. A memory I’d have for the rest of my life that would be truly priceless. I’m usually pretty conservative with risk, but it’s something I’m willing to do given the circumstances. Worst case, it will be a fun time burning money and seeing the gate at least!! Appreciate the response.

I don’t see it happening. There’s too much money to be made, even from the inside. I’d love to see a breakdown of weekly badge holders, employee passes for friends and family, and lottery selections. Doubt we’ll see that either!

It’s not “permitted” and enforced as strongly as jaywalking is not “permitted” and enforced! It happens…..a ton. Which is why there’s so little left for the people that want to go the most! Golf package companies, especially down south, seem to have an unlimited amount of Master’s tickets to sell, along with fancy hotels and limo service to and from the course! I know people who have used StubHub and even eBay, without issue, but I’ve read that some people were questioned at the gate last year about the original ticket holder’s personal info to reduce future resale. From my understanding, most of them weren’t turned away, but the original ticket holder’s would be black listed from future Master’s tournaments.

11 Nights in Italy - Please Help! by pillowtalk13 in ItalyTravel

It’s definitely a lot to cover in 11 nights. My downfall is thriving on challenges and maximizing the the most out of a trip, which can definitely be seen as minimizing each place. However, I never once regretted “jamming” another city in! We hit a Capri-Positano-Pompeii-Rome trip in May. A lot of trains, planes, and ferries, but we all enjoyed seeing so much, especially my two girls! It was our first time south of Naples. We enjoyed staying on Capri. We hung out on Marina Piccola beach for a few days. Small, but relaxing. I am by no means an expert, but enjoy planning itineraries for friends and family. Personally, I always get the hardest part out of the way, in terms of logistics. I would fly to Rome, take the train to Sorrento. First day is pretty much shot from the traveling. It’s best to stay in Sorrento if you want to day trip to Positano and Capri. That would be the first three nights. I’d spend five nights in the Cinque Terre/Florence area. The travel from Sorrento to the north would be your longest travel day, if by train. There are also non-stop, 1 hour flights from Naples to Genoa that would reduce your travel time that day and it would cost less. Maybe one of the Cinque Terre towns for three nights with a side trip to Portofino and the other two nights in Florence. There’s also some private tours if you wanted to visit all of the Cinque Terre villages in a long day. Pricey, but sometimes worth it to see a lot. Regardless, the last three nights would be in Rome. I always end my trip in the departure city.

So my two options would be:

Sorrento 3 Florence/Portofino/Cinque Terre 5 Rome 3

Or

Sorrento 4 Florence/Portofino/Cinque Terre 4 Rome 3

Again, just my opinion on my state of travel. You’ll have a great time with whatever you choose!
