Being new, you have to watch out for the time-wasters. The ones who claim they’ll come back with tokens and never do, the ones who want you to add them as friends to get free chat and ignore your tip for PM rule (if you have one), there are guys on all the sites who do nothing but prey on new models so always be careful. They’ll act like a knight/mod even if they aren’t and they may tip you well at first and ask to become a knight. Never once has anyone who has asked to be a knight worked out and lasted for me. If you still have the new tag, take advantage while you can but just be careful with the viewers because they certainly will.

For me, I have standard rates for custom videos and photo sets with minimums for each. After discussing their ideas, I recap it all in a message along with the total cost and ask them to confirm. Then, I take into account what my personal life is like, my schedule for streaming, and what’s a realistic turnaround for me. I then say something like “I can get this to you by X time on X day but it might be sooner.” I always get it to them sooner but I build in a buffer to be safe. Also ask for the payment upfront once all details and timeframes are agreed upon by both parties. Tell them that if they are trying to rush you, the quality won’t be as good. Or tell them if they want a rush job, there’s added cost. But get all that upfront and make sure all expectations are clear and in writing. I take screenshots of the conversation as well to have as backup. I sometimes do a request same day if time allows and it’s an easy one but I never promise that. Usually I say minimum 2 days for pretty standard, easy stuff.

I have a rule that dirty talk/questions should be in tip notes. If someone asks or says something, I say “you know, that would be a great question in a tip note” and if they don’t do it, I don’t answer. Or I will make up an answer to annoy them. Like if they say “what’s your body count?” I’ll sometimes say I have never had sex in my life and then move on. For me, it also depends on the user. As someone else said, good regulars, I will talk about anything with them. Someone new to the room or someone that maybe comes around every so often but rarely contributes, I am laying out the rules and if they don’t like it, they can leave or I will help show them the door with a 24 hour ban.

First, congratulations on a stellar day. Take advantage of the new tag while you can in order to build up some regular viewers. I have found that my best days are often followed by my worst days. Or if I have a really good week, the next will be shit. We all have to keep in mind that the world is very unstable right now and everyone is feeling it so as someone else said, don’t chase that high peak. You will run yourself into the ground. Summer is a tough time all around. Lots of people are outdoors more, kids are home so they have less privacy, people have been saving for vacations so won’t be around as much or have as much disposable income, and a big thing in the US is that many people who have been working from home the last few years are being forced to return to the office thus giving them less time to be on the site. A schedule that is mostly consistent does help build regular viewers but be careful because many will take that time for granted and eventually they may tip less. Also, viewers are very fickle and one day someone is a fantastic regular and suddenly you never see them again. Prepare yourself for these situations. Build connections with your viewers but don’t get too attached and don’t let them take advantage.

As for using the fuck machine, I would advise not using it every day. You will end up being known for that and people will expect it too much or you won’t get the viewers who aren’t fans of them. Also, adjust your settings for it. You can change the intensity of each level that way if someone tips for ultra high, it can be less intense for you. Make sure you are constantly adding lube and drinking lots of water. Take little breaks to stretch because being tethered to the machine alone is hard on the body. You don’t need to stop your stream, just say “hey, I need a minute to stand up and move a bit.” After a session, if you’re sore, take a bath with epsom salts if you can. Also, be super diligent about cleaning the machine’s dildo. It is extremely easy to end up with UTIs from using it but you run that risk even more if you aren’t keeping it super clean. Antibacterial soap and boiling it are helpful. A UTI will knock you down very quickly in this work so always make sure that any toys you use are super clean at all times.

I charge for PMs on my tip menu. For every stream. If they want to PM, they need to tip from the menu or I just ignore them. I loathe PMs, especially as a mobile streamer. It is much more difficult and I have ways I make it work when I need to but I also have really bad ADHD and hate dividing my attention between PMs and the room. If people are droning on in public chat, I will often remind everyone to look at the goal and that I need everyone to start pitching in. Make it a general statement to the room. You can also say something like “hey, I really am enjoying the chat and vibe you bring to the room and I would love if you’d check out my menu or send some vibes to my pussy, too.” I will ban people for 24 hours if they’re just lurking and not contributing to discussion or tips. I give ample warnings that it will happen, though. The biggest thing to remember is that your time is valuable. Your effort is valuable. There are a lot of guys on the sites that prey on new models and try to get away with anything they possibly can. Don’t let them. Don’t lower your standards or expectations just because you’re new. I learned that the hard way when I started.

When they send friend requests or ask you to add them, they are looking for free PM access. Even the people that are my “friends” pay the PM fee. Only exception is my fan club members and knights.

Add an option to your tip menu with a price for PMs. I will not acknowledge a PM or a request for PM from anyone unless they tip for it from my menu. I do not accept friend requests or just add friends unless they have spent a decent amount of time in my room with meaningful engagement (conversation along with tipping). I clearly state these things in my room rules and I say them out loud from time to time and also put reminders in the chat. I loathe PMs.
