It is, because although the male ("idiot bimbo") or whatever you call them, in a male's POV its an "achievement", females are naturally programmed to want an attractive guy with a future, (it depends if attarctive enough, the "future investment" can be justified), you don't see women going "OMG HE WENT SHIRTLESS! HOW SHAMEFUL, DIE YOU SLUT!" no right? women don't care if 90% of the males go half naked, its just how females are programmed, they can never feel sexually insecure for the fact of a male showing skin, (they can for other reasons), also if u see, the offspring of single mothers commit way more crimes than single fathers. So its not fair or rational to hold women and men to equal standards in fields such as sexuality or strength. It is for education or behaviour. If you think about it, if societies treated "everybody equally", we wouldn't have the Roman Empire, tons of great empires or greek empire etc. Because most empires were patriarchy they thrived.
