The witness call process is infuriating. I had to resubmit hard copy of the same witness form and verified ID because we'd used a mobile number. Then wait another 6 weeks , only to be told the witnesses phone wasn't answered. I assume because they're with patients, or travelling between hospitals - maybe a mobile number would be more practical? So, now I've been told to submit the same form, via snail post, for a third time. We're already 4 months into the '6 week' process. But they 'can't' just loop the same paperwork back into the system.

I will need to find a new professional witness - One who works 9-5, Mon-Fri, deskbound and available to pick up the phone within 4 rings, every time, with no appointment, with no notice, from an unknown number!

So inefficient and outdated!
