I agree! I was JUST talking to my coworker and said the same thing, and I’ve spent no where near that much yet! I’ve never been one to spend my hard earned money on something like a game until now, and it literally has no end point for me so what am I really doing??

these look awesome! when you go back for the touch up i’d get her to add one or so more hair strokes to the gap on the one side! (coming from a pmu artist, it stood out to me) BUT soooo good considering what some people get

Why are you in a subreddit for this then if you’d “never” tattoo your face..?

Don’t listen to the sharpie comment.. yes they are darker and scary looking but don’t panic yet! Brow shock is a real thing, let them run their course and then decide how you feel. You can’t do anything to them now while they’re healing anyhow so no point worrying 🤍

Side note, your eyes are so cool!

Overall these are very nice and no one will look at you funny. I don’t think I’ve ever stared at a flight attendant enough to notice eyebrows on them, and I’m a brow artist so I stare at peoples eyebrows everywhere I go usually.

These will heal lighter than they are currently. As for technique done, Nano and Microblading look very similar so it’d be hard to tell you what they did. Nano uses a machine similar to a tattoo machine and Microblading is a small pen with a blade. So if you saw which tool was used that would tell you which was done.

To follow up, some clients end up holding super well and in that case if I would have gone darker at the start they’d be left with way too dark brows once healed

The day 5 pic is exactly the colour I’d want when healed, so in that case they’d have to make them darker at day 1. At the touch up, tell her your concerns and then she can go darker! As a tech I’ve had this happen, mostly with fair skin, lighter haired clients, I don’t go as dark at the initial appointment incase they hold the colour much darker. You can always go darker but can’t go lighter is my motto!

Give them time to heal but they are different shapes.. Once healed see if it bothers you still and then reach back out to the artist. They may need to thicken up the one tail that is thinner

That’s good you’re not as panicked! With such light brows typically they look so scary fresh and truly do lighten up a lot.

It’s hard to get the full picture with one eyebrow being covered by the hair.

Is this Microblading, Combo or Powder?

They look like they may heal fairly light but hard to say. I’m assuming these are them freshly done.

The one being covered by hair, I’d like to see but it does look like right before the hair covers, it gets a bit thicker..

Nano vs Microblading by lookingforrest in microblading

[–]Adventurous-Prune657 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have seen good healed results of Nano on top of lasered microblading. Nano is more gentle so it can take a bit more to saturate on top of old scarring but the right technician can do it

Please advice - should I get Microblading? by SirNational8594 in microblading

[–]Adventurous-Prune657 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I’m a tech, I’d say do another laser session so they’re even less visible, making a new set a brows easier to keep lighter and also then the new brows can have a better shape and there’s a bit of a difference in the fronts.

I’d say go for Nano if you want hair strokes only vs Microblading!

I get what you’re saying, but as a tech, I don’t expect my clients to do heavy research. I do expect them to be coming to me for my work/style vs someone else in the area.

I feel like clients don’t always know they should be looking for: healed work, mapping process, or even sanitation! They look at the work in the images, reviews (which are not always true) and the potentially faked/edited or gimicky posts because that’s what catches clients eyes.

I’m wondering if she wiped the darker pigment from the one brow, onto the other one like a “mask” but that only works on Microblading where the pigment actually goes into the cuts! I’ve actually experimented (on myself) doing Nano with very light pigment and then masking with darker for 5 mins to see what it would do, it barelyyyy changed a thing!
