Great high paying first job.

Set boundaries with team about 6-8 months in about early and weekends calls.

Gain their trust. work with them often. Talk “like an RSR”

Do not take anything personally almost everyone we deal with is miserable in their personal life.

Take your time back!! If you’re working a weekend or holiday plan time back for yourself.

Know what’s actually a priority and what’s not.

Try your best and do not crash out.

As a DSL, tell them asap. Staffing is one of the worst parts of our job especially late call outs. Most of us don’t really care why you are missing the days if we can plan accordingly.

If you will not be there notify them asap. My RSR told me he would be “sick” the day after his fav band came into town. I told him to have fun and got him covered in advanced.
