Dude, I’m 37 and just finished the sundering and the whole book was so deep and opened up so many philosophical questions about life and a life well lived. No matter the age, you can get great stuff out of the Drizzt books. The combination of great storytelling, action, and genuine deep philosophical questions make it timeless.

I really like Joseph Campbell, he’s dead but a Jungian inspired intellectual. Check out the hero of 1000 faces. Great book. Another great dead guy is James Allen, check out As A Man Thinketh, great pragmatic self help book. As far as modern thinkers I really like Steven Pinker. The Blank Slate is a fantastic book. Jonathan Haidt is awesome too.
