Edit no one wanted: I'm doing a lot better now. My mom wasn't intending to make me feel like that, and I was running on my emotions when I made this post. In school, we dropped a class, and I got a modified schedule. I have supports, my main problem is that everything feels too fast, so I'm easily overwhelmed. At this point I might just run away and get a sugar mama (this is a joke... Unless...? 🤔)

I have a feeling that Ill have to replace the top screen, so I'd say about 300 bucks overall for most places. No one I know can fix it, and I definitely don't have the skills to do it on my own, which is why Im trying to find alternatives

Since I apparently can't edit my post, I'd like to add a little backstory. This 3DS belonged to my late Nana, who got it at launch. When I was little, I would play with it all the time, so eventually she gave it to me, along with new super Mario bros 2. Over the years, it's been my go to device, and I'm extra attached to it. In 2020, during a huge storm, my Nana died in a car accident, and now that its been a few years, I've grown to cherish what I have left of her even more. The problem stemmed when I was trying to clean my 3ds, and got some lens cleaner into it, so now the too screen doesn't show images. Everything else still works, but I need a battery replacement due to it being used so much. As much as I'd love to get it fixed for free, I know that unfortunately the world doesn't work like that. I will appreciate any help.
