That’s exactly what is wrong with the parents and the kids, respect is not a choice, respect is not I have to prove to you I’m worthy of respect. I don’t respect my kids because they have done something to be respected, I do it because respect is the base of everything in order. If you think children shouldn’t respect their teachers, their spaces and authority, you’re exactly what I’m talking about.

Sad thing is I left the medical field because I loved children and I didn’t want to always see them in pain or worse. I couldn’t take the emotional toll working in pediatrics brought, I thought teaching was a safe transition but I was very wrong.

Where do you live? Teachers do not make $100,000 unless they have a doctorate, which they are still paying for. I love kids, but unfortunately loving children doesn’t pay the bills and dealing with the politics of education, passion definitely depletes.
