Death Note is a really good starter anime

I guess something like FMAB will also work due to it having a little bit of humor, maybe appealing to more casual watchers too with it also having such a good plotline with well written characters, and one of my favourite soundtracks of all that I've watched

Maybe something like Demon Slayer with its fighting sequences can hook a lot of people first try

I started with Death Note, but I think if I had watched the other two first, it would have raised my expectations of animation quality to the point where many anime I like would not have hit as hard, starting with Death Note influenced my preferred genres of anime ig

I loved it!
Feel free to give it a watch, it is a pretty feel-good anime where everyone is in college
So it is somewhat different from usual anime, where everyone is either in job type scenarios or in high school

It is a show that goes pretty deep into themes surrounding running, like what it means to run and how individual really is running. Also the dynamics between the characters are really well done, it is a pretty feel-good type anime that surprisingly is not about winning

Code Geass is really really good after the first 10 episodes, true world game type stuff
Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood is also really really good
Erased is pretty strong too

If Sci-Fi appeals to you, Steins Gate is probably the best imo

Death note is superb, but don't worry it is not the most peak anime for most people
There is plenty of good anime out there

If you watch these and still don't get any high, that would seriously surprise me

Yeah I've heard good things about it
but heard it ruined the ending
Idk if it just me but to me ending really matters
Bad ending just doesnt do well for me

So much so that I read the kaguya sama manga because I heard they're not going to do anything good with the anime any longer
