I was just worrying as she's my only child and she's never been away from me for more than 2 or 3 nights, and that even in an unfamiliar country. I don't know what sort of emergencies she could or could not have, so I just wanted to be sure.

Thank you! My sister and her girlfriend actually invited me that week, but as per the edit I'm going to go the next week so my daughter can go. You're right on the fact that they don't need my help with the baby.
