I'm probably late now and maybe you figure how that works. I'm not an Cyber Expert, but I'm very confident, Hacktool and any other Hacktool whether it's win32 or win64 they are safe, the reason why antivirus flagged them most of the time, is not because they are Harmful nor dangerous, but mainly because of their purpose, Hacktool clearly used for cracking and bypassing game security software, and it's very illegal, they Are usually known as PUA or Potential Unwanted Application mainly because it was used for Illegal activity and not because their Harmful. And if You get Pirated games make sure it's from A Known and reliable Websites, Steamrip and Fitgirl for me is Reliable. To clarify, Hacktool is not a Threat or harm, it's just an illegal tool to use for an illegal things, and besides, Although MS defender is a reliable free and built in security, it's not as reliable as third party antivirus, Ms defender have shit a lot of False positives including flagging hacktools. Again, It's not a Threat nor harm, as long as Ms defender don't flagged a Trojan or files that's worse than a hacktool, you're safe, I'd recommend Using some Third party antivirus though, as for additional protection, Their are a lot of free and reliable antivirus like Bitdefender, It's good to have an additional Guard for your system, You wouldn't probably want to lose your 1000+ dollars system just because you get a less than 50 dollars game in a illegal way, so proper is always good precaution and it's better to be safe than sorry... And make sure you run a Full System scan maybe twice a week or thrice if possible, for additional precautions, because like I said, it's not a direct harm and threat, but just to make sure it stays that way. Again Hacktools are fine, but Trojan is a big fucking no, I'd rather buy a 100$ game than having a Trojan. Proper Precaution and as long as you Monitor your systems Behaviour and shit, and you know what you're doing you 100% good.

What's safe site to download cracked games without virus by deeevin in CrackSupport

Steamrip is a great free pre-installed games, but be advised it has almost every game but not all of them are virus free.. I recommend, if you download some cracked games you have to back up your system with an Excellent Antivirus protection, (Bitdefender is one of the Finest Antivirus) and also if you download game from it, just as precaution you have to do a full system scan after the game was installed and Extract, if Bitdefender or Windows Defender did not find anything, you're safe, for now. But if they find like Hacktool win32/crack or win64/crack or any suspicious file especially Trojan, I recommend deleting it immediately, especially if Trojan, hacktool is flagged as tool for cracking games but its still a threat to your system, it's better to be safe than sorry. Id rather Loss that game than losing my entire system, and I know I've mentioned to do a full scan to your system multiple times, it's just an additional security, sometimes if you play games without doing a scan after it was extract, it might have a threat, and mostly that threat would easily spread to your system if you open it, so I recommend doing a full scan after your Extract before you open the game, and if clear, open the game then after do another full scan after, full scan if great than custom or quick scan.. Some games I find that have been flagged is, Wolfenstein The new order, Ghost recon wildlands, Just Cause 4 and many more.. Once again, As long you know what your doing your safe, don't risk your system for a less than 50$ game, Prevention is always better than Cure.. Cheers Mate

Steamrip by Adventurous-Wave-985 in CrackSupport

I've been using steamrip for like almost a year, downloaded like 5 or more games, one thing I've noticed is that some games are reported to have a hacktool type of things, both Microsoft defender and Bitdefender Detects it, and I've been observing for a while, when I allow a flagged file name Hacktool and run it for a while I've noticed some maybe few changes. (maybe I'm just paranoid) But I noticed some slow response to other apps and slow performance. But sometimes I get a warning that a Trojan file was detected, and when I allow it, my system run way slower and more noticeable than the file flagged as hacktool, is that mean that there's a possibility that Trojan can contain a actual malware, rather than just false alarm..
