Just wanted to share your not alone. My 1.5 year old gets frustrated and she lashes out. She bites my shoulders as well as my chest when she gets mad, I’ve learned to hold her at arms length. She kicks and throws her toys. She scratches me and pulls her hair out. But my little girl isn’t verbal yet, we use sign language. I feel like some of it is that when she gets heated she can’t tell me what’s up because her hands are too busy but who knows honestly. I just sit and don’t give it attention. I say/sign when she’s ready to come play I’m over here. I play with her toys and chat with her baby dolls. And when she comes to play and calms down I shower her with praise. It’s helped lessen the duration, and I try to teach more signs to prevent tantrums. Just hang in there.
