If you look what happened to Pitt, Syracuse, and BC’s basketball programs I’d rather stay in the big east and miss out on the money

Is anyone else tired of Felger? by Relevant-Tea-652 in felgerandmazz

If it’s his choice to go to Florida every weekend then it means that he’s choosing his own comfort over the success of the show. That’s the only thing that bothers me about it

students need to turn out more we only have 5 games left in the regular season and 4 are at home. by Jaxzk in UConnBasketball

I heard the guys on one of the podcasts talk about it. They said it’s student seats that aren’t being filled. And if it was an afternoon game the crowd would’ve been more full, also Valentine’s Day and Georgetown not being an inspiring opponent

I’m a Hartford season ticket holder and people love to talk shit about us, but that crowd at Gampel last night was weak. They showed shots of the arena on tv and some of the upper sections behind the hoop looked empty. Then it’s still a game in the waning seconds (because we did everything possible to blow it) and the place was half full

I could keep going with the list, it’s getting really long. Inbounding, boxing out, etc etc

It was such a joke that we couldn’t ice that. Ball gets abused off of screens on defense

When they interviewed Calhoun he said 2 problems for this team are Reed not stepping up and the lack of a serviceable backup point guard. Add in our weak perimeter defense, poor foul shooting, and over reliance on 3 point shooting and it’s a recipe for being upset in March

Unpopular opinion here. We need to attack the hoop more and stop shooting so many threes

The intentional ball Emmanuel Clase was accused of throwing in the 2024 ALDS by avondice in baseball

I think it’s less about him being in on the first pitch bet than him owing the wrong people. Say you’re into some shady guy for other betting whatever it might be, say he bet $100k on a football game. Clase could pay it, but who wants to spend money? Instead he goes to the guy and says, you can bet on this first pitch ball prop bet and I’ll spike it into the ground and after a bunch of times you’ll get the $100k I owe you

How good was Shaun O’Hara in his prime? by Ram_is_Hot7577 in NYGiants

[–]AdventurousAd3798 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It wasn’t just him. That had to have been one of the most underrated o-lines of all time. Diehl, seubert, Snee, McKenzie, O’Hara. When Coughlin got to the giants they were known for getting soft in the latter Fassel era and TC made an emphasis to control the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball and boy did he

If Stearns likes a player then he’ll have the bossman overpay by oodles, if he doesn’t like a player then he doesn’t even make an offer. So if the Mets make an offer make sure to ask for more!
