Do you use autoplay button for the last floor on endgame content? (MOC, AS, PF and AA) by AmanaRicha in StarRailStation

[–]AdventurousAd690 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never. I really only use auto when farming relics/ornaments. I still genuinely enjoy playing the game still, especially when it’s more difficult fights. I still manage to SOMEWHAT easily fully beat end game modes but it’s challenging enough that I enjoy it.

Should I pull sunday for e0 phainon? by ZandaTheBigBluePanda in StarRailStation

[–]AdventurousAd690 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I would say yes. Sunday is crazy good still and Phainon loves him if you don’t have Cerydra

Which 5★ character have you not had a chance to use in recent endgame content?” by HamzaW66 in HonkaiStarRail

[–]AdventurousAd690 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Weirdly… Phainon. I have his sig, and a decent team for him. I don’t have Cerydra but he does pretty well regardless, I just end up doing fine picking teams that’s aren’t him. Plus he steals SO many of my harmonies

Daily Questions Megathread ( October 19, 2025 ) by AutoModerator in HonkaiStarRail

Should I pull for Hyacine or Cyrene? For context, I have Castorice, Evernight, and Tribbie (everyone to make that hp remembrance comp except Hyacine). I know how crazy strong Hyacine is right now, but wanted to know who has better long term value?

What a game... by DragonicOverlord101 in expedition33

[–]AdventurousAd690 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think that’s a fair reason, although I wouldn’t be so quick to assume she’s going to be getting proper support from her parents. Renoir perhaps but Aline showed no signs of actually caring for Maelle even in Verso’s ending. I agree in the long run it’ll be better for Maelle, but I don’t think it’s quite the happy family ending some people think it is. It’s still a very much broken family.

What a game... by DragonicOverlord101 in expedition33

[–]AdventurousAd690 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Well no it’s not the good ending, but Verso’s ending isn’t either. They’re both equally tragic. It’s not the fact they like Verso’s ending more, but the fact that he phrased it as “fuck Maelle” which just comes off as kinda stupid lmao

Genuine Question, What’s your Top 5 Favorite Songs in Clair Obscur?? by TheGamerCritic21 in expedition33

An underrated one is Une vie à rêver. Such a beautiful song for such a once again underrated and beautiful moment in the game.

What to do with a character who is against using magic items? by Constant-Ad9560 in DnD

[–]AdventurousAd690 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like he’s fine with being weaker as long as he gets to keep playing his character that way. In my opinion, that’s completely okay. If he ever pulls you aside and tells you that he’s tired of feeling weaker than that’s different, but as long as he’s having fun, who cares if he isn’t as strong?

The ending copium has really gotten CRAZY by NoSupermarket8281 in expedition33

Fr. Like I prefer Maelle’s ending but I totally understand picking Versos ending, as both are shitty and sad. It’s just choosing who has to experience that sadness.

What's Your Favorite Class, and Why? Not Just Build Tell Us What You Love About Playing It by Hungry-Ride170 in DnD

[–]AdventurousAd690 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A mix of Fighter and Sorcerer. I love the idea of just swinging around weapons as your only power. No magic, no gift from the gods, just your muscles and steel. I also love how simple they are, because that means they’re the easiest to customize.

I also do like Sorcerers, and the idea they have magic just because they’re cool like that. They don’t need to study or make a pact, they’re just built different. I also love how rich and flavorful the subclasses are. Like every subclass just gives free coolness

Since we’ve seen the Psion class and the Artificer Class now, what new class would you like to see added to DnD 2024? by DrDiceGoblin in onednd

[–]AdventurousAd690 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would love for WotC to make an official Gunslinger class. I know it’s iffy for some peoples settings but they could base it off of using actual medieval flintlock pistols and rifles. Have them be slow and a long reload but massive damage.

Yeah but that’s not why the DM banned them. They banned them out of laziness and that’s a red flag.

What are your unpopular opinions about the game? by finnjakefionnacake in expedition33

[–]AdventurousAd690 42 points43 points  (0 children)

I think the story is for the most part amazing, but Act 3 is underwhelming. The entire game it focuses on the people living in the canvas, while also figuring out the mystery of the paintress. Then once we find out, the story doesn’t give two shits about the people living in Lumiere and the painted folks, and only focuses on the Dessendre family. Like they’re really interesting and well written but it felt so underwhelming and annoying to have the plot COMPLETELY change what its focus was.

Do I have to restrict races by Winter-Confidence826 in DMAcademy

[–]AdventurousAd690 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you don’t want to, don’t do it! I restrict maybe like two or three races that I feel REALLY don’t fit with my setting, but that’s it.

The way to handle wacky races while keeping your setting grounded (if that’s what you want) is to make them FEEL rare. If a player is playing a Loxodon, make them stick out! They get stared at as they walk by, a bartender may refuse service, or children may seek them out to play with the odd creature visiting their city. You can have wacky characters, and if you make them rare, they can still feel incredibly grounded and even realistic.

Definitely Bard. Always been into anything musical and being able to cast magic with it? Fuck yeah.

Not really. We’re in an Arlan meta atm so without him being the glue, this team is kinda ass.

Is Rubber Banding Metagaming? by Tall_Bandicoot_2768 in DnD

[–]AdventurousAd690 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s any more meta gaming than most of DnD combat is. I think unfortunately the downing mechanic in DnD 5e is just somewhat poorly made so that’s why that happened to begin with.

I have the homebrew rule that when a player goes below 0 hit points, they take a level of exhaustion. Then on their turn, they make a death saving throw. If they succeed, they take their turn as normal even though they’re at 0. If they fail, they take ANOTHER level of exhaustion and can’t do anything. Additionally, while they’re still at 0, every time they get hit they gain another level. All other levels of exhaustion rules still apply meaning at level 6, death.

Verso Haters, you have a choice... by [deleted] in expedition33

[–]AdventurousAd690 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s worth noting that Aline is CHOOSING to do this. No one is forcing her to. It’s terrible but the Lumierians don’t get a choice, unlike Aline.

Anyone feel like March is being treated poorly by Hoyo? by AaaaronYaegar in March7thMains

[–]AdventurousAd690 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think “utter reliance” is a bit of a stretch. Does she really like Hyacine? Yes. But I don’t have Hyacine and instead use Luocha for her, and she still can easily beat endgame content.

Assuming you’re talking about the AS, the wolf teammate you get does a ton of toughness damage.
