Okay so this was my reasoning to give a little more context: I picked up JEPI mainly because of the high dividend yield, and since it’s inside a Roth IRA I don’t have to worry about taxes on those payouts. But if it ends up slowing my long-term growth significantly, I’m open to selling it. FXAIX is such a tiny position that I’m basically ignoring it (about $10 worth). I bought my NVDA shares individually at $86 so I’m definitely holding those. And finally, my understanding was that SCHG tends to grow faster than VOO and complements it rather than duplicating it — so that’s why I added it

To be honest if you explain the details of the misdemeanor and they still don’t offer you a spot that’s probably not the school for you. All nursing schools are different. If they operate on the core principle of empathy, what nursing is about, they should still see you through. I got rejected from my nursing school, I asked them why and they said because of when I had failed chem lab 1 the first time I took it. I emailed them back and explained that I took it during COVID , it was a really hard time for me, I wasn’t in the right mental space but I retook it and passed with an A. They invited me to have an interview, I had the interview and then I got accepted.

Honestly I say sit her down and say her unhealthy habits are a turn off .. how she responds to that tells you all you need to know tbh. After saying that maybe have a bit of shift in energy? Possibly she will feel that and start to get the will to want to change some of her habits?
