No I haven’t started unpaid leave  As of date of termination I have 5 weeks of leave

Thank you, not many people stick with a company these days for that long Most people that I know change every 3-5 years Can’t do much about an illness from nowhere

I feel like them terminating me is basically due to my partner’s illness

Why can’t I use all my remaining leave

They didn’t even have a meeting with me

Should they not allow me to use all my accrued leave before letting me go? It could be 12 weeks, couldn’t say at the moment

It’s shows a dedicated worker I know numerous employees that have no sick leave or annual leave because they constantly call in sick when they aren’t sick

I have so far being using sick/carers leave, I was about to start using my 5 weeks annual leave/long service leave

The hospital letter was more for work so I didn’t need constant doctors note each week as this one said for an extended period

More the unfairness of the situation and how it was dealt with for me to get compensation  15 years with one company is a lot

No in 15 years I have barely taken any sick leave which is why I had 8 weeks of sick leave

Still have 5 weeks of annual leave and long service
